About Ashton
Ashton and his wife are raising a bilingual, bicultural child who is a Coda (child of Deaf adults). He hails from the UK, bravely migrated Down Under a few years ago (and has a snake phobia, but thankfully hasn’t come across one yet!). Ashton’s daughter’s life is an integration of the Montessori approach, Deaf culture, Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as well as Dominican influence which plays a big role in their family’s Montessori journey.
