About Yuliya

Yuliya blogs at Welcome to Mommyhood, where she shares life as a mother, raising children in a Montessori inspired home, and teaching ESL. She writes about learning activities and printables for parents and teachers, tips and resources for setting up a Montessori home, and life from a wheelchair. Yuliya is a paraplegic and shares about how disability has impacted her parenting.

She has two children - Yvann (age 8) and Natasha (3). Yuliya and her husband are passionate about raising their children in a Montessori home. They hope to teach other parents about the beauty of implementing this way of life in order to create a respectful and loving Montessori home for their children.

Her dream is to open a public Montessori school one day!

In addition, Yuliya creates unique and beautiful Montessori-inspired printables for early childhood aged students and lower elementary aged. You can learn about the way to use her resources on her blog, where she explains how to use her printables to create hands-on learning experiences for your children and/or students.

Because of her love and passion for helping children to learn in a fun way, Yuliya is one of the owners of the Hands-on Kids Activities Club (HOKA). The Hands-on Kids Activities Club is a program that she runs with her friends I Believe in Montessori, Trillium Montessori, and Ash Speed Teaches.

Together, this team of four, creates a monthly subscription program that provides the resources teachers and homeschoolers need to create comprehensive lesson plans each month - printables, artist studies, practical life activities, DIY tutorials - you name it, HOKA has it!
