About Lisa
Lisa Dei Gratia is a trained Montessori and 'traditional' teacher from Aotearoa, New Zealand. She has experience as a classroom teacher in Montessori and traditional classrooms for children ages 5-9 and as a teacher in traditional classrooms from ages 5-13. Lisa has been on a journey to ensure her pedagogy is more inclusive which has led her into looking more extensively at what we can learn from other pedagogies and brain research to make Montessori more inclusive. Lisa homeschools her 6-year-old son who has ADHD and anxiety and also tutors children neurodivergent learners from her home. In her spare time, Lisa likes a good movie, a good book, and a nature walk.
