Donna May Tomboc
About Donna May
Donna earned a Bachelor’s in Science degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She also holds a Montessori Early Childhood Credential from the American Montessori Society (AMS). She is currently part of the AMS Instructor Academy Early Childhood Program. Donna started her career in organization development in 2004 but discovered Montessori in 2009 while on a vacation in San Francisco, California.
She started as a guide in 2010. However, when the school directors got wind of her HR experience, she was given additional responsibilities, which included mentoring other teachers in the center. In 2013, she was officially promoted to oversee the implementation of the Montessori curriculum, compliance with California licensing requirements, and administration of employee benefits in a private Montessori school in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In her free time, Donna loves to snorkel and spend time on the beach with an actual book. She also enjoys exploring the US National Parks. Yosemite is her Disneyland!
