About Laura

Laura Francis Connor from One Tree Montessori in Namibia has been working in Montessori since 2012. As a school owner and active Montessori guide, she is passionate about nurturing children’s emotional and social skills – especially as this is something she struggled with herself.

With two Montessori diplomas, Laura is in the last semester of her BA in Psychology and uses Montessori principles, psychology skills, and her own experiences to help children find a love of learning and their own unique place in the universe.

As a “side hustle”, she’s selling the printables she makes for her classroom, taking care to ensure representation and diversity, factual correctness, and versatile usability.

One Tree Montessori sells digital printables for ages 3-9. They cover a range of topics, from traditional Montessori biology and geography like the Parts of Animals/Plants to specific contexts, such as a growing offering of country studies, environmental awareness and social skills.
