About Leanna

Leanna Ampola is an AMI-certified Montessori elementary teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught in a Montessori classroom before homeschooling her children for six years.

During those years, Leanna obtained a Georgia daycare license and founded Growth Montessori, which offered 1-day and 2-day per week enrichment programs for homeschoolers ages 7-12. She also hosted dozens of free Project Group days where 8-20 homeschoolers gathered in her home to work and create together. 

Leanna taught multiple classes in the homeschool community including Math, Geometry, Botany, Geography Exploration, the Montessori Great Lessons, and more. Leanna’s two children have moved on to other learning programs, but she continues to teach various classes and tutor math using Montessori materials.
