About Kristen

Kristen Richter holds her 6-12 Montessori credentials and is currently guiding a group of 9-12 year old students. She has over 25 years of experience in the Montessori environment and has worked in classrooms with students whose ages range from infants to 12 year olds. She has also spent numerous years as a teacher educator and program administrator.  

Kristen is passionate about creating a strong peaceful community with her students and their parents. In addition to her work in Montessori she is a certified Positive Discipline Educator and Teacher Facilitator and enjoys facilitating classes for parents and educators.

Kristen and Spramani

Kristen and Spramani joined forces in March, 2020 to present at the AMS conference. They were one of a select few presentations at the Dallas event before it was shut down due to the corona virus. This lead them to take their program online and the masterclass, Using Art Journals for Emotional Literacy, was born. 

Together they are facilitating an entire movement to bring emotional literacy into classrooms all over the world by educating and empowering teachers and parents to bring emotional literacy to the children.
